FAQs
How do I enroll in online banking?
Click on Access Your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on Enroll Now. You will be asked a series of identification questions and will have a one-time passcode sent to the email on file. Once the one-time passcode has been entered, you will need to read and accept the terms and conditions. After agreeing to the online banking terms and conditions, you will create own access ID and Password. You will then be asked to create some security questions. Once all steps have been completed you will be able to access your online banking. The username and password you created will be the same for your mobile banking phone app..
How do I reset my online banking password?
Click on Access your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on Forgot Password. You will need to type in your Username, Last four digits of your social security number, email address and select Reset Password. Your temporary password has been sent to the email address on file. The password will only be valid for 30 minutes. If you do not receive your password within 10 minutes, contact customer support or check your filtered email.
What are the best practices for creating a password?
Best practices suggest that you use between 8-17 characters. At least one number and at least one letter is recommended.
Can I change my username for online banking?

How do I change my password or security question?
Log in to your online banking via Access your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on Profile and select Edit next to the item you are looking to change.
Can my online banking account go inactive?
Yes. If after 180 days of inactivate you will no longer be able to log in to your online banking account. If you wish, you can re-enroll by clicking on Access Your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Select Enroll Now.
How do I download the MinnStar Bank mobile app?
Using the app store on your mobile phone, search MinnStar Bank Mobile and select download. At the login page enter the same username and password you use to access online banking.
How do I sign up for eStatements?
Log in to your online banking via Access your Accounts in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on Profile and select Edit next to Electronic Statements.
Can I receive eStatements and paper statements?
No. You must select either eStatements or traditional paper statements.
How long do I have access to my eStatements?
eStatements are available for 560 days.
How do I find my check images for mobile deposit?
Check images will print on the bottom of either your eStatements or traditional paper statements and are also available to view on Current Transaction Activity.
What do I do if a check image is not printing?
If a blank rectangle is printing instead of the check image you may need to try using a different browser to print the check.
Can I make a loan payment through Bill Pay?
Yes.
What is online Bill Pay?
MinnStar Bank’s online bill pay allows you to pay anyone in the United States that you would normally pay by check. You can set up automatic payments to pay your electronic bills or to automatically schedule payment of a set amount at regular intervals. You can sign up for bill pay via online banking.
