MinnStar Bank offers a variety of checking accounts. We will help you decide which account best suits your banking needs. All checking accounts come with a debit card, online banking, mobile banking and bill pay.

Star Club Checking

• No minimum balance requirement
• $9.00 monthly fee
• Personalized MinnStar Checks (limited to one style) at no cost
• No interest

Minimum Balance Checking

• $100.00 minimum balance
• A $7.00 minimum balance fee will be imposed every month if the balance in the account falls below $100.00 any day of the monthly statement cycle.
• A $0.25 per debit fee will be imposed for each transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment out of your account) if the balance in the account falls below $100.00 any day of the monthly statement cycle.
• The monthly minimum balance fee and the per debit fee will be waived for customers 18 years old and under
• No interest

Interest Checking*

• $500.00 minimum balance
• A $10.00 minimum balance fee will be imposed every month if the balance in the account falls below $500.00 any day of the monthly statement cycle.
• A $0.25 per debit fee will be imposed for each transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment out of your account) if the balance in the account falls below $100.00 any day of the monthly statement cycle.
• Interest is earned on the average ledger balance and paid to the account monthly

Senior Checking

• Minimum qualifying age is 60
• No minimum balance
• Unlimited check writing
• Personalized MinnStar Checks (limited to one style) at no cost
• No interest

Loan Star Reserve

At MinnStar Bank, our Loan Star Reserve is a consumer Line of Credit (LOC) for overdraft protection and small loan needs. Loan Star Reserve gives you overdraft protection when your checking balance drops below a zero balance by automatically advancing from your personal line of credit. Interest is calculated on a fixed rate basis and payments are scheduled according to the outstanding balance.

They are available to all customers who have a checking account with MinnStar Bank and qualify for this financing product. Typically, Loan Star Reserve loans are unsecured but in certain cases, collateral may be required.
